In the final ratings on Thursday, Grey's Anatomy was adjusted up a tenth of a rating point to a 3.7 adults 18-49 rating from what would have been a series low new episode rating. Community, Parks & Recreation, and Vampire Diaries also saw their 18-49 ratings adjusted up a tenth.

Just curious, but why was that picture selected? Nice to see VD And SPN up in finals!
I knew Parks will go up, they always do…so VD went from 2.2 to 2.4 in W18-34? Great!
Because it was already in our photo database, and I hadn't used it in a while, and it was from Grey's Anatomy.
The CW needs a complete overhaul, starting at the top.
These 1-3 month long breaks between fresh episodes is killing all of their shows. DVR and online viewing be darned, if people haven't been watching your channel because your programs have been in repeats for so long, how do they know when their favourite shows come back?
The Vampire Diaries has lost over a million live viewers since November.

Lol, it kind of surprised me because it included Katherine Heigl. I don’t know why I found that surprising. Maybe, because so much has been said about her leaving lately.
Large veiwer losses used to be common for the WB (take Veronica Mars for example) in the second half of a season. It might just be the type of audience which comes and goes. Though I’m not too sure.
But she’s soooooo pretty!
Anyway, I expect FlashForward will be redder than red on next week’s RCI. Community and Parks always seem to tick up a point from the preliminaries.
Flash Forward is hopefully rapping things up this season and not leaving a cliffhanger the end of the season. I hope V comes back to some good #s so ABC can at least say we had at least 1 successful drama this year.
I was hoping PP was gonna hit a 3.0. But it’s still higher than Marriage Ref by .4, so yay – another victory of scripted shows over reality shows!
Practice also lost double the 18-49 audience from its lead-in that Marriage Ref did.
Marriage Ref also probably costs like a dollar.
nologo683 and Fin16
This is indeed a problem that hits the CW harder then most networks (though almost all shows see declines in the spring versus the fall.
Since both UPN and the WB had very similar problems I assume this is due to those netlets not having filler programming. Thus they lose a significant chuck of viewers each large break between episodes. Fox, CBS, ABC and even NBC have some form of extra programming to keep viewers watching the network at levels better then a typical rerun.
With the money problems these netlets have had, its a problem that won’t be going away.
Oh and Fin16 Veronica Mars was never broadcast on the WB, it was aired on UPN. It was one of Dawn’s original children. As she stated to the press, the first scripted hour with a female lead on UPN. And as much as I loved VM, it still bothered me to no end that she seemed to forget UPN biggest hit, Star Trek Voyager (female lead). I mean a show that hit 3 million plus versus a show that had hit nearly 20 million……

Good for Vampire Diaries for going up, hopefully it goes up next week
“Star Trek: Voyager” hit 20m? Guess that was foe the premiere (which got a 13 overall rating when it premiered in January 1995, huge for UPN)- it then settled back, and by the end of the season it had lost half of that rating, and droppedI remember the premiere being pretty big, but then the numbers dropped big, and settled into the 5m-6m range, no? Still, big for UPN.
