Updated – “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” Bests “Caprica,” Hits Series Highs On Friday

Note: I am still double checking these numbers with Starz but based on the Friday cable report I sawNumbers now confirmed: Spartacus Blood and Sand hit highs on Friday with a .6 rating (.58, actually) with adults 18-49, and 1.265 million — series highs in both categories and substantial week-to-week growth with adults 18-49.

The little premium cable show that could?  Its numbers were better than Caprica‘s (.58. vs. 48 with adults 18-49, and 1.265 million viewers vs. 1.103 million).  Which is damned good for Spartacus: Blood and Sand since Starz is in ~75 million fewer homes than Syfy, and also kind of pitiful for Caprica.
