AMERICAN PICKERS #4 series on cable and #1 new series among Adults 25-54
New York, March 30, 2010 – Driven by the success of the network’s hit series – PAWN STARS, AMERICAN PICKERS and AX MEN – HISTORY™ experienced its top quarter of all time with year over year increases in all key demos in 1st Quarter 2010.
HISTORY’s 1st Quarter 2010 numbers vs. 1st Quarter 2009:
- Total Viewers: 1.4 million, up +8% from 1st Quarter 2009 (1.3 million)
- Adults 25-54: 747,000, up +15% from 1st Quarter 2009 (648,000)
- Adults 18-49: 681,000, up +15% from 1st Quarter 2009 (594,000)
- Men 25-54: 501,000, up +16% from 1st Quarter 2009 (431,000)
- Men 18-49: 456,000, up +14% from 1st Quarter 2009 (400,000)

In addition, March 2010 was the network’s best month ever across all key demos with:
- Total Viewers: 1.6 million, up +33% from March 2009 (1.2 million)
- Adults 25-54: 802,000, up +27% from March 2009 (631,000)
- Adults 18-49: 736,000, up +26% from March 2009 (582,000)
- Men 25-54: 539,000, up +26% from March 2009 (427,000)
- Men 18-49: 495,000, up +23% from March 2009 (401,000)
With 14 telecasts in 1st Quarter, PAWN STARS remains HISTORY’s #1 hit with an average of 4.5 million total viewers; 2.6 million Adults 25-54; 2.5 million Adults 18-49; 1.7 million Men 25-54 and Men 18-49. 2010 to date, PAWN STARS is the #1 series on cable among Adults 25-54.
The recently launched AMERICAN PICKERS attracted an average of 3.7 million total viewers; 1.9 million Adults 25-54; 1.8 million Adults 18-49; 1.3 million Men 25-54; and 1.2 Men 18-49 – with 8 telecasts in 1st Quarter. 2010 to date the series is currently is the #4 series on cable and #1 new series among A25-54 impressions.
AX MEN also yielded strong results with and average of 2.4 million total viewers; 1.4 million Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49; 994,000 million Men 25-54 and 942,000 Men 18-49 – with 10 telecasts in 1st Quarter. 2010 to date, season 3 of AX MEN is up over +50% vs. season 2 in all key demos.
