New York, New York – April 14, 2010 – Monstrous worms unleashed from their ancient crypts and vicious witches declaring war on humanity wreak havoc during Syfy’s May Saturday Original Movies.
In Mongolian Death Worm, premiering Saturday, May 8, at 9PM (ET/PT), treasure hunter Sean Patrick Flanery (The Boondock Saints, Young Indiana Jones) and U.N. aide worker Victoria Pratt (Day Break) find themselves battling local bandits while searching for Genghis Khan’s secret tomb in central Mongolia. The crypt is guarded by man-eating Mongolian death worms, who grow very angry at being disturbed.
Luke Goss (Hellboy 2), Ed Speleers (Eragon) and Sarah Douglas (Conan the Destroyer) star in Witchville, debuting Saturday, May 22, at 9PM (ET/PT). When his father dies, a prince (Goss) returns home to claim his kingdom, only to find it overrun by witches. Though he initially refuses to believe in magic, he soon finds himself locked in a brutal war with the witches, whose leader (the Red Queen) is his long-lost mother.

There is nothing about the title “Mongolian Death Worm” that I don't like. I hope Syfy turns it into a reality show.
Mongolian Death Worm. Reminds me of the original Tremors movie.
Search for Genghis Khan's tomb. Reminds me of a recent Dirk Pitt/Clive Cussler novel.
Witchville. Sounds like a hamlet outside of Eastwick.
I'm glad to see Sean Patrick Flanery getting such strong roles
Poor Witchville. With just a little sense of humor we could have had the Prince as a medieval version of Darren from Bewitched and Syfy could have had funny cheesy Saturday night movie but no, sounds like they're gonna play it for 'drama', lord help us. lol
ohhhh Witchville….LUKE *droool yummy* GOSS….I am soo there
they have a facebook page with COOL behind the sceens pics if anyone is interested…

I can hardly wait for *Mega* Mongolian Death Worm – and its inevitable sequel (one week later) Mega Mongolian Death Worm *vs* Arachno-Piranha (starring the guy from WWE who mops up the sweat…).
Actually, CNN – in its desperate death throes is scheduling “Mega Mongolian Death *Wonk*” next Saturday (starring action hero Larry King and presented without commercial interruption by Depends).
*Then*, in a dazzling display of cross-network synergy, HLN will host “Celebrity Wonk Death-Match” (featuring Rick “The Brick” Sanchez vs. Nancy “The Harpy” Grace).
Thank god for these “hard news” alternatives to Fox…
The director for Witchville (Pearry Teo) actually has a pretty cool style…very dark and NON traditional… LOL He did Necromentia and The Gene Generation… I dunno, might be cheese…tho it looks kindsa cool. But you put Luke Goss in it (never mind that there are sweaty shirtless tied up scenes) and I am there!! hahah!! <3
There are no any local bandits in Mongolia!!! Why you make something that is not true? You just blowing off tourist business in Mongolia saying that there is a local violence. I do like the story about the worm but do not like local bandits part!!!
Witchville starring the deliciously delightful devilish Luke Goss is going to be great just because of the fact Luke will be in it!
Most of the Syfy movies are cheesy and the special effects are not very special; however, with Luke Goss in the movie Witchville will be entertaining and exciting to watch. I have heard only good things regarding the director Pearry Teo's style and vision and I am looking forward to watching Witchville. For more information on the lead star, Luke Goss, check out his fansite: lukegossforum.com there are loads of pics to drool over.
