From James Hibberd at THR.com comes news that Cops has been renewed by Fox for a 23rd season. The show is nearing its 800th episode.
I've long thought that Cops, and its Fox Saturday stablemate America's Most Wanted likely have the best dollars spent per adults 18-49 ratings point payback in broadcast television today.

Congratulations to Cops for the renewal. I have my doubts this show will be leaving the airwaves anytime soon, partly because of the dollars-to-demo points ratio, partly because shows like this always seem to come across new ways for people to get in trouble, thus no real chance of running out of material, and partly because enough people are curious about what the police do (and have to deal with) that there will always be an audience.
Ugh! You stay classy Fox.
Hehe, yeah!! I love cops
Cops for the 23rd season! This show has outlast some big budget shows from the networks! I love watching Cops some of the episodes might be quite serious but most of them are just pretty funny when you think what some people do.
