In an encore of this season’s “Treehouse of Horror” trilogy, the annual SIMPSONS Halloween tradition serves up three frightful vignettes: “Dial ‘M’ for Murder or Press ‘#’” is an homage to classic Alfred Hitchcock films featuring an outraged Lisa and a scheming Bart; Springfieldians are transformed into zombies in a parody of the horror film “28 Days Later”; and a nod to the Broadway musical “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” sees an impaled Homer lamenting his fate in song.
THE SIMPSONS (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) – “Judge Me Tender” – Season Finale
In THE SIMPSONS 21st season finale, Moe discovers a talent for judging contests and is invited to appear on AMERICAN IDOL with host Ryan Seacrest and fellow judges Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres, Kara DioGuardi and Randy Jackson, all guest-voicing as themselves. Meanwhile, Homer drives Marge crazy when he starts hanging around the house too much.

To add insult to injury, Freight Train dumps Cleveland as his best man in favor of Donna’s ex-husband, Robert (guest voice Corey Holcomb). In the end, though, Cleveland steps in to save the day in the season finale, which also features a special musical number by Earth, Wind & Fire.
