“THIS WEEK” CLOSES A25-54 GAP WITH “MEET THE PRESS” BY 81% YEAR TO YEAR
AND 54% WEEK TO WEEK
ABC News “This Week” was the number two Sunday morning program on Sunday, April 18, 2010 among both Total Viewers and the Adults 25-54 demographic, according to Nielsen Media Research. Outperforming CBS’ “Face the Nation” among Total Viewers for the second week in a row with 2.66 million Total Viewers, “This Week” posted its highest Total Viewer delivery since January 31, 2010. Last Sunday also marked the third consecutive week, ABC bested CBS in the A25-54 demographic.
“This Week” experienced week-to-week growth in both Total Viewers (+6%) and Adults 25-54 (+10%). In addition, ABC once again narrowed the gaps with NBC’s “Meet the Press.” Among Total Viewers, ABC cut into NBC’s lead by 42% versus the same week last year and by 36% week to week. In the demo, “This Week” closed the year to year gap by 81% and by 54% week to week.
Last Sunday Jake Tapper’s exclusive guest was former President Bill Clinton. The round table featured George Will, Donna Brazile, Al Hunt, and Kim Strassel.
