Early Ratings: "Chuck" Steady-Ish; "Castle" Leads "CSI: Miami"

Disclaimer: these are based on early metered market household ratings.  There is no sure-fire way to correlate these to the fast national numbers (that we'll hopefully report around 11:45a ET) with adults 18-49 and viewer info).  Typically, the early metered market numbers are especially pretty useless at forecasting any of the age/gender demos.

With all of the disclaimers out of the way, Chuck scored a 3.7 household rating in the early metered-markets, down one-tenth from last week (last week it competed with a repeat of How I Met Your Mother, this week, it was a new episode.)  That new episode of How I Met Your Mother scored a 5.3 household rating.

Romantically Challenged was up 1/10th vs. last week (6.9 vs. 6.8) and at least in early metered market household rating edged out the special repeat of The Big Bang Theory at 9:30p that had a 6.8.  The special 9pm original of The Big Bang Theory scored a 7.9.

Castle led an original episode of CSI: Miami at 10pm, 7.7 vs. 6.6.   That doesn't necessarily mean Castle will have more viewers and definitely doesn't mean it had higher demos.  Of course, it doesn't mean that it doesn't either!  We'll just have to wait for the fast national numbers. Stay tuned.
