'THE Tonight Show WITH JAY LENO' AND 'LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON' SCORE APRIL 26-30 LATE-NIGHT WINS

JAY DELIVERS HIS BIGGEST 18-49 MARGIN OVER A WEEK OF 'Late Show' ORIGINALS SINCE THE WEEK OF MARCH 1-5

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – May 6, 2010 – NBC's late-night lineup has scored ratings victories for the week of April 26-30, with "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" out-delivering CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in all key ratings categories: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers. At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" also generated bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," in all key categories. “Late Late Show” was in rebroadcast three nights last week.

"Tonight" won the 11:35 p.m. ET hour by a 34 percent margin over "Late Show" in adult 18-49 viewers, Jay's biggest advantage over a week of "Late Show" originals since the week of March 1-5, Jay's first week back on "Tonight." Jay also led "Late Show" last week by a 28 percent margin in total viewers and 65 percent in adult 18-34 viewers. At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" topped "Late Late Show" by margins of 19 percent in 18-49 viewers and 46 percent in 18-34 viewers.

Jay delivered his biggest 18-49 audience in three weeks and biggest adult 18-34 audience in seven weeks.

For the week at 1:35 a.m. ET, “Last Call with Carson Daly” (0.4 rating in 18-49, 0.3 in 18-34) tied the rating of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's Ferguson in the valuable adult 18-34 category.

For the week of April 26-30, Jay's average 1.442 million adults 18-49 outscored Letterman's 1.079 million; in total viewers, Jay's audience of 3.997 million persons beat Letterman's 3.125 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay's 568,000 topped Letterman’s 345,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 799,000 adults 18-49 for the week topped Ferguson's 670,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.608 million defeated Ferguson's 1.575 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 346,000 out-delivered Ferguson's 237,000.
