This was still on?
I wonder what will replace it. Any idea?
still funnier than kimmel. heck, c-span is funnier than kimmel.
I love Wanda Sykes, but the format of the show felt too rehearsed, with forced humor. She would be wonderful on a show that allowed her more artistic freedom and less censorship. She belongs on a network like FX.
Duh!!!! No brainer.
Wanda can be really funny, but the format of the show, if one could call it a format, never really hit a groove. This isn't a surprise.
My question exactly.
She does too much work on TV,I like Wanda, but overexposed can be a bad thing. The ratings being bad against SNL? SHAM-WOW GUY? the ratings must of been horrible.
Another TV failure for Wanda Sykes ? What a shocker. Even after a six pack on Saturday night, she's not funny.
I like Wanda, I think she's hilarious. But I didn't really care for this show. I'd rather see her continue on Old Christine (hoping that show is renewed!) and with her stand-up.
Wow, if they go ahead and cancel Old Christine that will be two kicks to the curb that Wanda has earned this month.
Too bad as I think she could have succeeded with a better designed show. It felt too forced, as if she just could not really relax and be herself. And what was up with that drag queen. yeesh. Some of her skits were hilarious, but the roundtable just seemed like a bad take off of what is on Chelsea Lately. All the visiting celebs on it also seemed uncomfortable there.
I'd like to see her host SNL
Too bad for Wanda. There's just something disingenuous about her that I can't get past to watch her regularly. It was the same way with her last show for me, too.
I'm glad to hear that it's being cancelled. I thought the first show was funny, but then it just looked sad, tired, and honestly off base. It seemed to me that Wanda failed to deliver, she seemed out of place or uncomfortable, maybe she's just use to working on a closed set, i don't know, but the show just failed to capture what i've come to love about Wanda Sykes. So i'm glad for that reason that it's gonna go away, only cause i really do like Wanda Sykes and know that she's better than what i've been watching….
Poor Wanda, since Old Christine looks like it's getting canned too. But I caught a glimpse of her show and yeah, it wasn't funny one bit. Sorry.
Fox would be smart to put that new Dana Carvey sketch comedy show in the Saturday 11pm slot.
If this show is cancelled, Fox (IMO) will be gone forever from my TV…..Wanda brings life to the channel.
All they have now is teens watching American Idol and 24…..come on, people!!!
It was terrible so good riddance.
Wanda Sykes is hilarious. She deserves to be in a show worthy of her talents. Old Christine is funny, but it feels like it has run long enough. When she appears on talk shows, like Ellen for example, she is 10x funnier than any material she gets on her shows. Someone please hire this woman and let her do her thing. I don't think the format FOX had her in was it.
Did she write her own material? As a stand up comedian she is hilarious!!!! But the show- Wasn't one bit! It was forced and the jokes were very – amateur.
The segments were just dumb most of the time.
I love Wanda- but only watched the show twice(Once and a half technically),
I would like to see Wanda in a show where she is herself- and writing her own material.
I'm a Wanda fan too, I think Fox should retool the format, new, different writers, supporting cast, if Wanda would go for it…if not…then pull the plug.
