As expected, by pretty much everyone but me (and to a lesser degree Bill), and then apparently even more expected after Tuesday night's ratings, ABC has renewed V. Now ABC can claim it didn't strike out with all its new dramas for the 2009-10 season.

And nothing on Chuck yet? Wow.
And yay for V. Looks like FlashForward is dead.
I figured they would.
Its ratings aren't going to be pretty next year though, with Lost gone. :/
Wow!!! Thanks ABC you make happy tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!
surprising yet not surprising.
Deadline.com is reporting CBS picked up Mike & Molly. ABC picked up Mr. Sunshine, Better Together, Happy Endings, The Whole Truth, Generation Y, and Detroit 187. NBC renewed Chuck and picked up Kindreds for midseason.
I tried to tell you guys that they were going to be shamed into renewing V. Don't ever doubt me again guys!
V has potential to grow, so I hope the season finale hints something big for season 2.
FlashForward was dead either way.
I would say that this would seal Romantically Challenged's fate, though. ABC has done their face-saving. They can cancel RC without remorse.
Im not totally surprised. At least one drama on ABC survived this year.
this is just abc not wanting to admit defeat, and signifies their poor drama pilots
Love the show!!!!!
I thought it had at least a 50/50 shot at renewal. I'm enjoying the show so I'm happy about this.
This is like CW renewing Melrose Place
Yay!
I was afraid to watch last 2 episodes but now will go on mini-V-fest.
I'm a bit surprised that they would renew it, but I guess it must be some combination of wanting to salvage a drama amongst this year's shows and a lack of faith in their pilots.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO, how is this possible? FlashForward…it is my favorite show onTV. I will love ABC if they renew both but I know it my heart they won't.
Woo-hoo ABC's 1-6 in new dramas!
Flash Forward cancelled!!!!! Scrubs, Better Off Ted, and Romantically Challenged cancelled too.

Goodbye FlashForward.
Overall viewership has got to be down on all networks this season though. In my opinion, I think viewership has been down on most networks since the 2008 Writers Strike.
