yesss! highest ratings for GA since february i think.. slowly re-bounding
as for next week, i think reaching a 5.0 would be optimistic; last season's finale had a 0.7 increase by the half-hour mark. i feel like these “in the moment” events like a gunman coming or an accident that needs help or a 'whodunnit?' event aka stuff that seems like any viewer can tune in and enjoy despite not having been a regular viewer appeals more and generates more interest in general than promos that advertise stuff that only fans would understand/like.. so i'm hoping lots of people tune in.
i have a sense that if GA declines next season as it normally would, it'll get numbers similar to what DH did this year
No way will Greys get a 5.0, it will be lucky to get at least a 4.0. The show just sucks
I wonder what the main demographic for Bones is because it definitely doesn't seem to be adults 18-49… Which is odd, since everyone I know who's a fan of that show is in that age range.

I think it will be interesting to see who comes out on top between the Survivor finale and the Desperate Housewives / Brothers & Sisters finale combo. B&S doesn't stand a chance, but I think it will tight between DH and Survivor, with Survivor coming out on top.
So based on the final results, The Mentalist and Private Practice are dead even in the 18-49 demo age group for the night with 3.2/9 each. Overall viewership for The Mentalist was better than Private Practice. FANTASTIC!! I enjoy Private Practice. Sure wish they didn't place it up against The Mentalist or I would continue to watch but if it has to play against it, I would have to go with The Mentalist. Can't resist the charm of Simon Baker!!
