This is one of those moments where as an American I want a paper bag placed over my head. THIS is what gets people to tune into the news….Gross.

Lucky Nightline. A new scandal, in which Sandra Bullock's name was mentioned, is coming down the pipe as alleged by the reliable National Enquirer.

  3. Why Nightline? ABC could've had him on a special 20/20 tonight at 10pm and try to really hold on to the 3rd spot for the season!

Didn't the Iraq war start on March 19, 2003 which means Nightline got its highest rating since then with the JJ interview? How sad, considering everything else they've reported on during the past seven years.

  5. I agree this is so not hard news, it's just a stupid gimmick to boost ratings.
I would have thought James would have went on Leno, and Leno saying “What were you thinking?”
    * then a slap on the head *

  6. Wow the least news worthy thing Nightline has done all year and that is what gets them the big ratings….. I really hope this isn't a trend. Nightline is probably the smartest news program out there, it blows out anything cable news put up.
