Santa Monica, CA, – May 26, 2010 – VH1 announced today that its latest hit series “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business,” “Basketball Wives” and “What Chilli Wants” have all been picked up for second seasons. Closing out their first seasons, “Basketball Wives” and “What Chilli Wants” finale on Sunday, May 30th at 10PM* and 10:30PM* respectively. “Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business” will finale on Sunday, June 27 at 9PM*.

Viewers watched as the privileged group of friends, who are connected to professional athletes, balanced life as mothers and business owners and worked to maintain their close-knit friendships and support systems, while dealing with the drama of looming infidelities and groupies. Now it’s time to get down and deal with the issues they have been avoiding. In the season finale, Shaunie invites the girls to get away from the Miami drama and visit her in Los Angeles for a little get-together. The west coast getaway starts out fun, but quickly turns serious as the season ending dinner turns into a heated discussion that leaves everyone upset. But with Sonja ready to step down as CEO, Brandy and Ray J have to fill her shoes while trying to take the family business to the next level. In this series, both Brandy and Ray J try to expand their careers. Brandy steps back into the music scene and teams up with famous producer, Timbaland, for a new album. Ray J steps out of his notorious bad boy image and collaborates with Rodney Jerkins and other popular R&B heavyweights. Sonja, the matriarch of the family, fights frustration trying to keep her family on track, while passing the business reins to Brandy and Ray.
