JAY DELIVERS HIS BIGGEST 18-49 AUDIENCE IN EIGHT WEEKS AND JIMMY GENERATES HIS BIGGEST IN 11 WEEKS

IN ADULTS 18-34, 'Last Call' OUT-RATES 'KIMMEL'

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – May 27, 2010 – NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has won the week of May 17-21 in adults 18-49 and total viewers over all cable and broadcast competition, delivering bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in every key ratings category: adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" also delivered more adult 18-49 viewers and total viewers than any cable or broadcast competition in the time period. Jimmy Fallon attracted bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and ABC's "Kimmel" in every key ratings category, except for a tie with "Late Late Show" in women 25-54.

Jay generated his biggest 18-49 viewership in eight weeks (since the week of March 22-26) and his biggest overall audience in six weeks (since April 5-9). Jimmy Fallon scored his biggest 18-49 viewership in 11 weeks (since March 1-5) and biggest overall audience in nine weeks (since March 15-19).

To date, Jay Leno has ranked #1 in adult 18-49 rating on 57 of 60 nights versus "Late Show" (including ties) since returning as host of "Tonight" on March 1. In total viewers, Jay has ranked #1 on 58 of 60 nights.

For the week at 1:35 a.m. ET, “Last Call with Carson Daly” (0.4 rating in 18-49, 0.4 in 18-34) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" in adult 18-34 rating and topped the 0.3 rating of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

For the week of May 17-21, Jay's average 1.482 million adults 18-49 outscored Letterman's 1.202 million; in total viewers, Jay's audience of 4.113 million persons beat Letterman's 3.456 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay's 545,000 topped Letterman’s 404,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 877,000 adults 18-49 for the week topped Ferguson's 766,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.753 million led Ferguson's 1.705 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 387,000 out-delivered Ferguson's 287,000.
