New York, June 2, 2010 -- Coming off its best April ever, Oxygen Media continues its ratings success earning its best May ever in network history, according to Nielsen Media Research. On pace to have its best second quarter ever, the network was up double digits among A18-34, W18-34, A18-49, W18-49 and total viewers vs. May 2009.
Across Prime, in May 2010, Oxygen has seen phenomenal growth among all key demos and total viewers. Contributing to the success of May is the much talked about season five of the original series “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood,” which continues to perform well for the network. Behind the strength of the fifth season of “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood,” Oxygen has been a top ten network in the 10pm hour on Mondays among W18-49 serving as a new destination for Oxygen viewers.
Oxygen’s digital properties also contributed to the network’s success. To date, www.OxygenLive.com, the real-time social networking dashboard, has garnered nearly 17.4MM page views. Oxygen.com is outperforming May 2009 in monthly uniques and video streams. Additionally, Oxygen Mobile was up over May 2009 in uniques (up +105%) and page views (up +103%).
