Forbes' Lacey Rose reports the stars of CBS's The Big Bang Theory are hoping to cash in on ratings success with big pay raises:
Now the show’s leads, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons, would like to share in that success. Looking ahead to next season, they’re hoping to renegotiate their $65,000 per episode paychecks to a whopping $250,000 a show--a 285% raise.
Ms. Rose makes a case for why the stars have some leverage beyond the ratings. While it will be interesting to see how the show does Thursdays at 8pm, I'm inclined to agree that Warner Bros should pay up.
