While these preliminary ratings for live events are subject to significant revision in the final ratings, Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics scored a 10.4 household rating for the primetime portion from 9-11pm in the metered markets up 20% compared to the 8.7 household rating for the comparable primetime portion of Game 3 between the Lakers and the Orlando Magic last season.
Last night's game also scored an 11.0 household rating for the 9-11:30pm period.
