With Game 2 of The Finals in the books, NBA.com continues to deliver strong year-over-year growth. Sunday, the site managed 2.1 million unique visitors for its Game 2 coverage of the Lakers/Celtics series, an increase of +20% vs. last year’s Game 2 coverage of the Lakers/Magic series. The site also served over 25.1 million page views (+24%) and 4.7 million video streams (+82%).
NBA TV delivered a full day of The Finals coverage on Sunday highlighted by live on-site pregame and postgame shows featuring Matt Winer, Kevin McHale and Chris Webber, who were joined by Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The Finals Game 3 coverage continues in Boston on Tuesday at 7 p.m. (ET) with Winer and McHale joined by TNT analysts Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley.
