I think its safe to say this will turn out to be like Secret Life, growing throughout the summer. ABC Family is jumping for joy right now.

  2. This is gonna be a hit. This show is doing very well!

  3. This show is great. I'm glad it's doing well for ABC Family.

Love the 1st episode, will watch part 2 tonight or over the weekend. Lucy Hale..yummy.

Wow! Great news for ABC Family!

  6. i think it will be a hit too.. people probably tuned into the second episode because the first one was left on a cliffhanger and they wanted to see how it was resolved. if it keeps it's audience again next week I wouldn't be surprised if ABC Family decides to renew it.

I just watched the premiere. It started pretty slow, not enough Laura Leighton but it picked up about half way through the episode. I kinda liked it.

I'm mostly glad for Holly Marie Combs. I'm definitely not the show's desired demo, but I'm glad that she's back on a successful project 4 years and one failed pilot later.

It really good. I wanted to give it a shot, and i liked the first episode, saw the second one just now on Hulu, and i think ill stick with the current season til it finishes. So far so good!

  13. How weirdly did this show skew? Total viewership and adults 18-49 were steady, but the show was down in almost every other key demographic. Did word of mouth really hook an older crowd?

I'm not surprise this show is base from a book series. it has a built in audience already.

Down women 12-34, up women 35-49, up male teens, down men 18-49. That's odd.

I hate to admit, and its a total surprise to me, but I like this show. its nothing super special, but it keeps me interested. Im def, sticking with it. even though it can be cheesy sometimes

  17. Poor CW

  18. lol you're so right. This show is just like what they keep failing to achieve in their endeavors to appeal to the young teen girls demos. Oh well, they're digging their own grave with that crap anyway. At least they came out with LUX and the VD wasn't horrible like I'd expected it to be, and it has great ratings for the CW lol

Actually, OFFICIALLY what they go after are women 18-34 and, say, Gossip Girl usually gets mid-2's to about 3, while this show got a 1.7 there. So…not the same.

  20. The season finale for Gossip Girl & One Tree Hill

    One Tree Hill
    - 2.015 million viewers
    - 1.3/2 HH
    - 1.0/3 A18-49
    - 1.3/4 A18-34
    - 1.9/6 W18-34

    Gossip Girl
    - 1.959 million viewers
    - 1.3/2 HH
    - 1.1/3 A18-49
    - 1.5/4 A18-34
    - 2.1/6 W18-34

    Pretty Little Liars (8pm)
    - 2.476 million viewers
    - 1.6/3 HH
    - 0.9/3 A18-49
    - 1.7/6 W18-34
    - 3.5/14 T12-17

I think PLL has the potential to improve in the women 18-34 demo since it retained all of it's audience from the pilot. I wouldn't be surprised if it grows in total viewers and demo over the summer similar to the Secret Life. Ultimately beating Gossip Girl.
