NBC LATE NIGHT RESULTS FOR 'THE Tonight Show WITH JAY LENO' AND 'LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON' FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 7-11

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – June 17, 2010 – NBC's late-night lineup has delivered ratings wins for the week of June 7-11, with "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" out-delivering all cable and regular broadcast competition in the 11:35 p.m. ET hour in adult 18-49 viewers and total viewers. Jay generated bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in all key categories and topped ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in most key measures: adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; adults and women 18-34 and total viewers.

NBC’s late night programs were delayed on Wednesday due to the NHL Stanley Cup Final. ABC’s late night programs were delayed on Tuesday and Thursday due to the NBA Finals. Additionally, the Monday, Wednesday and Friday telecasts of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” were rebroadcasts and Friday’s “Kimmel” was re-titled and excluded from the weekly averages.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" generated bigger audiences than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in adults, men and women 18-34; adults, men and women 18-49; and men 25-54.

To date, Jay Leno has ranked #1 in adult 18-49 rating on 70 of 75 nights versus "Late Show" (including ties), since returning as host of "Tonight" on March 1. In total viewers, Jay has ranked #1 on 71 of 75 nights.

For the week of June 7-11, Jay's average 1.229 million adults 18-49 outscored Letterman's 1.134 million; in total viewers, Jay's audience of 3.586 million persons beat Letterman's 3.466 million; and in adults 18-34, Jay's 448,000 topped Letterman’s 387,000. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon's 730,000 adults 18-49 topped Ferguson's 645,000; in total viewers, Jimmy's 1.509 million trailed Ferguson's 1.665 million; and in adults 18-34, Jimmy's 305,000 out-delivered Ferguson's 262,000.
