TV GUIDE NETWORK COMMEMORATES THE ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE KING OF POP'S DEATH

Michael Jackson specials air Friday, June 25th beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT

On the first anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death, TV Guide Network commemorates the legend’s memory with an evening of programming focused on his life and those who knew him best:

  • 7:00 pm - MICHAEL JACKSON: HIS FAMILY DYNASTY - An in-depth look at Michael Jackson's intimate relationships with the members of his famous family. Profiles include Janet, Jermaine, LaToya, and his parents Joe and Katherine.
  • 8:00 pm - HOLLYWOOD 411 – TV Guide Network’s weekly entertainment news show takes a look at the year following Michael Jackson’s death.
  • 9:00 pm – GONE TOO SOON - In an unprecedented global TV event, TV Guide Network will broadcast the U.S. exclusive premiere of this revealing two-hour account of Michael Jackson's final years that illuminates the real causes of his untimely death. Conceived as a follow-up to acclaimed author and filmmaker's Ian Halperin’s 2009 New York Times #1 best-selling book, Unmasked: The Final Years Of Michael JacksonGONE TOO SOON is drawn from extensive footage shot before and immediately following Jackson’s death, including exclusive audio and video of the King of Pop himself. Halperin, who predicted Michael Jackson’s death six months before he died, spent over five years researching Jackson, during which he discovered a remarkable, yet unknown story.
