This is the third of our "2010 Emmys, Who'll Be Nominated? Who Should Be?" posts, to see all our posts on the 2010 Emmys click here.

I'm not going to pretend to try and tell you who'll be nominated based on some sort of critical evaluation, I'll let you know who was nominated and who won in the last two years, plus a few other names the critical community is chattering about and let you comment on who you think will be nominated, and who should be nominated.

Emmy Nominations will be announced on July 8.

Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series (2008)

  • Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) - Winner
  • Michael C. Hall (Dexter)
  • Hugh Laurie (House)
  • Gabriel Byrne (In Treatment)
  • Jon Hamm (Mad Men)
  • James Spader (Boston Legal)

Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series (2009)

  • Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) - Winner
  • Michael C. Hall (Dexter)
  • Hugh Laurie (House)
  • Gabriel Byrne (In Treatment)
  • Jon Hamm (Mad Men)
  • Simon Baker (The Mentalist)

Besides The Obvious Names Above, Those Getting Some Chatter This Year

  • Kiefer Sutherland (24)
  • Matthew Fox (Lost)
  • Ray Romano (Men of A Certain Age)
  • Peter Kraus (Parenthood)
  • Timothy Olyphant (Justified)

There seemed to me to be more actors in the critical chatter mix than actresses this year.

And your guesses?
