Univision #1 Broadcast Network in the Country in Overall Prime And has the #1 Broadcast Program for the Week Among ALL Adults 18-34

Univision Highlights – NPM Broadcast Prime Week of 06/21/10

•     Univision finished the week as the #1 broadcast network in overall prime among Adults 18-34 (1.1 million) and ranked #4 among Adults 18-49 (1.9 million) and Teens 12-17 (189,000); beating CBS & CW. Additionally, Univision continues to be the #1 network among Kids 2-11 (488,000) for the fourth consecutive week and ranked #5 among and Total Viewers 2+ (3.6 million).

•     Univision’s “Soy Tu Dueña’s” Tuesday night telecast was the most watched broadcast program last week among Adults 18-34 (1,938,000) and all five telecast of the novela ranked among the Top 10 Programs for the week.

•     Last week, Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX every night among Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17, on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 4 out of 7 nights among Total Viewers 2+.

•     For the week, Univision had 11 of the Top 30 Programs among Adults 18-34, 9 of the Top 30 among Adults 18-49 and Teens 12-17.

•     Univision saw double digit increases across P2+ (+10%), P18-49 (+14%) and P18-34 (+24%) this week versus the same summer week last year.

•     Univision was the leader as the #1 ranked broadcast network in primetime on Friday night among ALL Adults 18-49 (2.2 million), Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Teens 12-17 (229,000) and among Total Viewers 2+ (4.1 million) the network out-delivered NBC, FOX and CW to take the #3 position for the night.

•     The top two rated programs on Friday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17 were Univision’s #1 “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) and #2 “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe” (For Love or Money).  Additionally, among Total Viewers 2+ “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) was the 3rd most watched show of the night and among Adults 18-34 “La Rosa de Guadalupe” (The Rose of Guadalupe) (#3) rounded out the Top 3 shows for the night.

•     “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe” (For Love or Money) helped Univision take the #1 position among Adults 18-34 (1.5 million) for the fourth consecutive week.  Additionally, the novela helped Univision rank #1 among Women 18-34 (811,000) and #2 Adults 18-49 (2.5 million) and Teens 12-17 (254,000).

•     At 9pm, “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) has captured audiences making Univision the #1 ranked broadcast network in the hour among Adults 18-49 (3.0 million), Adults 18-34 (1.8 million),  Women 18-49 (1.7 million) and Women 18-34 (1.0 million).   On 4 out of 5 nights “Soy Tu Dueña” (Woman of Steel) was the #1 program on broadcast television among Adults 18-34 (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and among Adults 18-49 it’s one of the top 5 shows on a nightly basis.

•     At 10pm, Univision’s checkerboard programming helped the network rank #2 among Adults 18-34 (873,000); delivering more Adults 18-34 than ABC and CBS in the hour and shows audience increase versus the prior week in this demo as well.

•     “Sábado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) made Univision the #2 ranked network on Saturday night among Adults 18-34 (532,000), Kids 2-11 (280,000) and ranked #4 among Adults 18-49 (999,000) and Teens 12-17 (71,000).

•     On Sunday night Univision was the #2 broadcast network for the night (7-11pm) among Adults 18-34 (512,000) and ranked #3 among Teens 12-17 (113,000) and Kids 2-11 (164,000).

•     The second episode of “Desafio: La Gran Batalla” (The Challenge: The Big Battle) delivered more Adults 18-34 (533,000) than CBS’s specials “Daytime Emmy Awards,” “”I Get That A Lot” and ABC’s “The Gates” and “Scoundrels” among other shows.  In its 8-10pm time period, Univision tied with ABC as the #3 broadcast network among Adults 18-34 and ranked #2 among Teens 12-17; behind FOX.
