2010 Emmy Awards Nomination Predictions Without Predicting!

The entertainment media is awash with predictions of Thursday's 2010 Emmy Awards nominees. Here are mine, sort of.

Since we're all about the numbers, it seemed to me that considering the overwhelming inertia of the nominations from year to year, that simply predicting exactly the same nominees as last year would likely do better than those of most of the entertainment writers. Even if some of the nominees are no longer eligible!

So without further ado, here are my "no predicting" predictions for Thursday's 2010 Emmy Award nominations. Come back at 5:30am Pacific (god help us all) to see how well I did.

Update: Predicting without predicting scored 20 of 36 nominations, 55.5%. Curses Glee and Modern Family for not being on last year's schedule!
