“THIS WEEK” OUTPERFORMS CBS’ “FACE THE NATION” FOR 3RD WEEK IN A ROW IN TOTAL VIEWERS AND THE DEMO
ABC News’ “This Week” was the number one Sunday morning public affairs program on Sunday, July 4, 2010 according to Nielsen Media Research. Last Sunday marks the third week in a row “This Week” has outperformed CBS’ “Face the Nation” among both Total Viewers and the key Adults 25-54 demographic. While NBC’s “Meet the Press” was pre-empted for the Wimbledon tournament, the other three programs were coded specials due to the July 4th holiday.
Last Sunday anchor Jake Tapper had an exclusive interview with Senator John McCain (R-AZ). The round table featured Al Hunt, Paul Krugman, Dan Senor, Jorge Ramos, and Cynthia Tucker.
Ian Cameron is the executive producer. ABC News Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper is the interim anchor. The program airs Sundays on the ABC Television Network.
