The critically-acclaimed new USA original series Covert Affairs and the premiere of the hit returning series White Collar launched to ratings success last night, Tuesday, July 13.
Covert Affairs is the #1 new scripted series premiere of the year in P18-49:
- P18-49: 2.1 million – topping all other cable scripted premieres this year including “Rizzoli and Isles,” “Justified,” “Memphis Beat” and “The Glades” and growing +28% from the White Collar lead-in
- P25-54: 2.3 million – growing +26% from the White Collar lead-in
- TOTAL VIEWERS: 4.9 million – growing +14% from White Collar lead-in
- P18-34: 858,000 –+53% above the “Rizzoli and Isles” premiere on Monday and +11% vs WHITE COLLAR lead-in
The sophomore season premiere of WHITE COLLAR showed impressive growth over its freshman winter season average in one of the most competitive timeslots of the season (9-10pm):
· P18-49: 1.6 million – on par with winter season average
- P25-54: 1.8 million – +6% over the winter season average
- TOTAL VIEWERS: 4.3 million – +12% over the winter season average
