This summer'scontinues to outpace 2009 after last night's Sunday edition posted year-to-year growth, winning its time period in viewers and key demographics and finishing as the night's #1 program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sunday, July 18.
From 8:00-9:00 PM, BIG BROTHER SUNDAY was first in households (4.2/08), viewers (6.98m), adults 25-54 (3.0/09), adults 18-49 (2.3/08) and adults 18-34 (1.8/06).
Against last year's comparable BIG BROTHER, last night's edition was up +20% in households (from 3.5/07), +30% in adults 25-54 (from 2.3/07), +21% in adults 18-49 (from 1.9/06), +13% in adults 18-34 (from 1.6/06) and added +1.41m viewers (from 5.57m, +25%).
This marks the fifth consecutive BIG BROTHER broadcast to post year-to-year increases over last summer's edition.
