Fox again lead the week's adults 18-49 ratings averages, and boosted by Tuesday's MLB All-Star Game (even though it was the least viewed since at least 1972) did so by a wider margin than most weeks this summer. Univision tied ABC for second place in the adults 18-49 averages after winning Thursday night last week outright. CBS had three episodes of Big Brother last week, but they still remain mired in fifth place in the week's ratings.

Good news for the five English broadcasters overall, their combined average adults 18-49 ratings were down less than 1% vs. the same week last season.

New and improved! The network's average viewership is now charted in millions of viewers, just like we report all other average viewership information on the site, not in viewership rating. I couldn't figure out a way to keep the same look to the chart and create two different axes, so I eliminated the units label from the vertical axis entirely, just pay attention to the numbers themselves and note the units (million viewers on the left, rating on the right) below the bars.

Note that the chart includes both  AVERAGE VIEWERSHIP (on the left side) and ADULTS 18-49 RATINGS (on the right) using the same vertical axis scale.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population in that demographic group and equals 1.32 million adults 18-49.
