The rumors persist that both Legend of the Seeker and FlashForward will wind up on Starz. Given my track record with Damages and DirecTV, I won't dismiss these notions completely. But that means I'm still about 99% dismissive. Sure, where there's smoke, there's usually fire, but in this case you'd need to be smoking what the FlashForward and Legend of the Seeker fans are to see it.
Legend of the Seeker fans see their show as being compatible with Spartacus: Blood and Sand. I suppose if they worked the phrase "By Jupiter's cock," into the dialogue and injected a lot of nudity there is a case to be made. It is at least a period piece and Starz has been big on those lately ("Spartacus," "The Pillars of the Earth," and the upcoming "Camelot."
My vote: neither. At least DirecTV can use Damages as a marketing tagline: "Exclusive home of the Emmy Award winning Damages!" Starz can't do that with Legend of the Seeker, and certainly can't do that with FlashForward. "Exclusive Home of a show that premiered to millions on ABC and then lost most of them," doesn't have much of a marketing ring to it.
FlashForward's hardcore fans are running wild based on comments by someone they don't know who claims Starz told them they are aggressively seeking to acquire FlashForward. I'd say there's 100% chance that didn't happen like that.
The FlashForward faithful will counter that Starz likes shows that will be big draws internationally and that FlashForward fits that bill. But they're misled by the early international ratings which, like the early US ratings data was quite good. Unfortunately, just like in the US, the international ratings sank into the abyss.

Seeker is needed. No it is not like the Spartacus: Blood and Sand. LOTS is unique to itself and it has never lost its fan base. We are out here working hard to finally get it the positive attention it deserves. Seeker fans have remained loyal and active since March/April when the grumblings were first heard. summer doldrums! but especially the “FlashForward” rumor has been making the rounds. I've gotten several e-mails pointing to different coverage of the same rumor.
It will be neither, I am a LotS fan and it was already rumored that Starz said “NO Thanks”. Flashforward I doubt as well mainly because one of the main cast members already is signed on with Camelot and 4 other main cast members already have signed on for other shows or movies etc. However as a fan of Damages guess that proves there “COULD” be hope for both shows, but unlikely.
Nudity can only enhance Legend of the Seeker, not diminish it. I would welcome Starz to air it…if this were to happen. Which I doubt will happen.
From fans that have called Starz, it will not be taking on LOTS, of course there is no official statement anywhere to link to. (Would like to add, that is not the end of our fight, or even correspondence with Starz).
As a fan of FlashForward as well I was disheartened about it being cancelled, but there was only so long that show could go on for.

I hate both shows, but I think Legend of the Seeker would fit better on Starz. I don't know all that much about the show, but I think it would fit well with Spartacus.
idk if either has a real chance.. but Legend of the Seeker would look Great on starz.. but the first 2 times i called them they said they are working to gain rights for legend of the seeker ..and that alot of ppl were requesting it.. the 3rd and Last time i called they said they had decided not to pick it up..=(.. but i heard a rumor that they were outbid ..so if thats true i hope this other station does the show justice with alot of promotion. would be nice considering they got NONE from Abc disney..
I would got with LotS if only because that show probaby already is used to working with a small budget. Otherwise, neither.

Also want to point out that Starz now reports that they are not going with Legend of the Seeker because they were outbit/because they want to focus on other shows/because the series was 'discontinued'. Take your pick.
