CNN has been struggling in primetime and has begun tinkering with its primetime schedule. So far, the only primetime show CNN hasn't announced any changes for is Anderson Cooper 360, and it was down more total viewers than any other CNN show in primetime in July.
But CNN's struggles aren't just in primetime. Below are the monthly 25-54 averages by cable news network for 2010 for both primetime and total day. For four out of seven months of 2010, CNN has trailed MSNBC in the advertising-focused 25-54 demographic when it comes to the total day period. Can it be long before CNN is announcing changes outside of primetime, too?
