After its second season premiered last week to 5.3 million and a 2.6 rating with adults 18-49, MTV’s Jersey Shore dropped a bit last night to 5 million viewers and a 2.5 rating with adults 18-49.   It still beat everything else on cable and on the broadcast networks, too, with adults 18-49 (Big Brother was tops with a 2.4 rating).

I’ll post  women 18-34 demographic numbers for last night later today.  Here’s a look back at the season one ratings.
