Live Eviction Show Posts Week-to-Week and Year-to-Year Gains and
Sweeps Its Time Slot
Big Brother THURSDAY posted season highs in viewers, adults 18-49 (matched) and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Aug. 19.
Big Brother THURSDAY was first in households (4.5/08), viewers (7.55m), adults 25-54 (3.1/10), adults 18-49 (2.5/09) and adults 18-34 (2.0/08). Compared to last week, Big Brother THURSDAY was up +5% in households (from 4.3/08), +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/09), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08), even in adults 18-34, and added +310,000 viewers (from 7.24m, +4%).
Compared to the same night last year, BIG BROTHER 12 THURSDAY was up +5% in households (from 4.3/08), +11% in adults 25-54 (from 2.8/09), +9% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/08), +18% in adults 18-34 (from 1.7/07) and added +790,000 viewers (from 6.76m, +12%).
