"Face the Nation" Up in Households and Viewers Year-to-Year
CBS News' FACE THE NATION beat ABC in households and viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, August 22. The CBS broadcast posted 1.7/05 with 2.39m viewers.
Against the comparable broadcast last year, FACE THE NATION was up +6% in households (from 1.6/05) and +5% in viewers (from 2.27m).
On the broadcast, Bob Schieffer interviewed General Ray Odierno, Commander of U.S. Forces in Iraq; Senator Lindsey Graham, R-South Carolina; and Stones Into Schools' Greg Mortenson ("Three Cups of Tea").
