
Sunday marks the first time since 2006 that the Emmy Awards have aired in August, about a month earlier than normal, and it's for the same reason as last time. The Emmy Awards cycle between the four major broadcast networks and when it's NBC's turn the peacocks don't want it to conflict with Sunday Night Football.
The Emmy's face tough competition Sunday night, including a couple of "best drama" nominees with True Blood and Mad Men airing original episodes. This is the first broadcast to air live on the west coast, and NBC will also rebroadcast it at 8pm on the west coast (and those ratings will get lumped in to the final tally).
Unfortunately, 2006 was also the first year DVR numbers were included and so past results (included below) are somewhat scrambled for any predictive purposes. We did a guess the ratings poll back in July, I will probably repost it over the weekend. For now we want to know if you plan to watch.
