US TV Households Climb by 1 Million for 2010-11 Season to 115.9 Million

It’s that wonderful time of year where you know the new season is almost upon us because Nielsen has issued its updated “universe estimates” for the 2010-11 TV season.

Nielsen estimates the number of TV households grew by 1 million to 115.9 million households.   The number of people that live in those homes age 2 and up (P2+) grew, from around 292 million last year to 294.65 million people.
