Come on I am disappointed no one here to call someone a Racist. I guess they needed a new bottle and diaper change.

  2. Hoppyplayer

I hope that Chris Matthews thanks God everyday for the existence of Larry King, which saves him from being the dumbest man in America. I can forgive him his stupidity, but his mean spirited envy of those more talented and successful is beyond redemption.

Looks like a well below-average Friday for everyone except “Fox & Friends’.
CNN’s “Sudden Fury- Katrina” experienced sudden death.

I’d like to see how much of Beck’s rally Hannity will cover tonight…

  4. Jacmo2003

I share this thought also. If he fails to do it, it will confirm my suspicion that the proverbial green-eyed monster is at work.

Really low ratings all around. Bret Baier’s 25-54 demo dipped low enough that The Ed Show almost caught up. And Ed was off that day.

  6. Annepogozelski

The key phrase being “Ed was off that day”.

It is most unfortunate that the formal Mr Rogers-The Talking Horse showed more intelligence than the current Mr Ed on csnbc shows. His catch comment about pysco talk seems to imply entirely to the unprofessional, mostly utterences that comes out of his peasize brain that make no sense except for his pals on the extreme left.

In the wake of the BECK rally in DC you can see the desperation on the faces of the MSNBC nightly line up of Obama cheer leaders !

It was a riot watching the lame attempt to minimize the BECK rally crowd and ignore the anemic turnout for the king of race baiters, Al Sharpton.

Reliable sources report Ed Shultz had to cut his rant short because hair dye got in his eyes.

Watching MSNBC (quick switch only & back to FOX ) has become a real spectator sport of the polished pros versus the near vanquished !

I think it’s more antagonism than envy. There are two camps within FNC, not necessarily built on political kinship: Beck/O’Reilly and Hannity/Van Susteren (a loose alliance since Van Susteren does talk to O’Reilly) which extends beyond FNC with the Hannity/Mark Levin connection. Van Susteren has been friendly with Rush Limbaugh for some time. Mark Levin has ripped O’Reilly on occasion, and Hannity was critical when O’Reilly gave Obama “the benefit of a doubt” from the start (as if O’Reilly didn’t have a clue as to where Obama would go). O’Reilly has said that calling Obama “socialist” was extreme. It’s no accident that O’Reilly has a contributor on the Factor named Mike Levine, an attorney and liberal talk show host who looks like he could pass for Mark Levin’s son. O’Reilly was a guest on Savage Nation many years ago, I recall it being a friendly exchange. Now O’Reilly won’t say the name ‘Mike Savage’ on the air. Mike Savage was a guest of Glenn Beck when Beck filled in for Larry King on CNN, and the interview was cordial. Savage doesn’t seem to be a fan of Hannity. It’s all fascinating.

Schultz, Olbermann and Maddow have sunk so low they’d need to practice pole vaulting to scratch a snake’s belly. I’m not in love with everything I hear and see on Fox, but MSNBC is becoming increasingly nauseating. Richard Widmark became star years ago by capitalizing on a sneer that was more effective as a bad-guy sign than all the black hats in a Stetson warehouse put together, but he couldn’t hold a candle to Matthews and his buddies.

If you get a chance, check out Megyn Kelly’s show on FNC from 1-3 p.m. weekdays. Interesting topics from an intelligent, personable host.

  12. I can’t wait for the ratings on 11/2 and 11/3. I will especially watch PMSNBC on 11/3 to see them cry!

  13. Nancywalton

My, Mr. John, why not throw out a few more nasty terms? Peasized brain? Me thinks the gentleman protests too much. Maybe a long, hard look in the mirror may be the key to your future.

  14. Nancywalton

Anne, Intelligent? Interesting topics? I don’t see that at all, not at all, however…..you are entitled to your opinion.

Perhaps this might convince you that John is not too far off the mark about Ed:

    http://insidecablenews.wordpress.com/2010/08/26/ed-schultz-blows-a-gasket/

The current pool is up to $500 at MSNBC as to when Ed goes off the reservation for good.

  16. 22angel

I think that Hannity and the like i.e. Greta, Cavuto etc. were told to pull back from covering the Beck story because of the flack that FNC received with coverage of the Tea Party convention. Nobody was going to tell Oreilly what he could cover on the story…he used his whole hour on Glenn. Good going Bill!

  17. Anonymous

Interesting observation. The Factor had good analysis of the rally and reactions in the media. Like clockwork, MSNBC went into full-attack mode and CNN went into veiled-attack mode.

  18. Hoppyplayer

How wonderfully condescending of you to allow others to have an opinion. Your warm hearted tolerance is simply breathtaking!

  19. Jacmo2003

Thanks. Be it antagonism or envy, as “conservatives” they need to bond together. I am somewhat disappointed in Sean.

  20. Anonymous

I think it’s healthy that they have disagreements. You can think of positions you may have not considered before. And sometimes they will say things inconsistent with being conservative that will make your jaw drop. In any case, you don’t see many of them being yanked off of air for criticizing the other, like Donny Deutsch was when he got on the wrong side of Keith Olbermann.
