Longest-Running Game Show in Television History Debuts New Season
With New "Pay the Rent" Game and a Chance to Win $100,000Entering its 39th season, CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT, with host Drew Carey, is better and bigger than ever with a new game, updated classics, new guest announcers and fully miked models. The new season will premiere Monday, Sept. 20 (11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, ET; 10:00-11:00 AM, PT), on the CBS Television Network, and will unveil "Pay the Rent," a new game where contestants have the chance to win $100,000, the highest dollar amount ever offered during a game in the show's history.
In addition, two of America's most beloved PRICE games, "Plinko" and "Ten Chances," have been updated and enhanced to elevate game play excitement. Also, for the first time in the show's history, the models will now be fully miked, enabling them to interact with Drew as well as the contestants and audience members.

I think Drew wants to give them more respect. Heck even Rich himself got more respect under Drew Carey than Bob Barker.
You guys think Bob Barker was so great??? He was but he can be a Jack@$$ on and off the show.
And Miking the models??? I saw it coming. You should know Drew Carrey by now kids.
Why does the show only chose kids and old people as contestants? There are people shown in the audience 30-50 yrs old. I would watch the show if you’d pick some of them.
I heard a rumor that Drew is leaving the show; anybody know if it’s true? I like him!
BIG Mistake getting rid of Rich Feilds!
I used to be a faithfull viewer of the price is right since i was 10 yrs old and just turn 48yrs old but with so many time coming to the show and not been pick as a contestant i stop watching the show I was very upset because people that they dindnt apriciated the show were call to come on down, call me stupid or silly but I really love the show and coming to the recording but I give up.

I love Drew, I wish every one would leave him alone if they don’t like him don’t watch the show!!! I am also sad that Rich Fields left.
I love Drew Carey! He has added excitement to the show –and respect to the models. I will miss Rich Fields. He said in a blog that Drew had nothing to do with him leaving. Bob Barker had gotten to be an old fogey.
