Hooray! No Hannah Storm on CBS!!!!!!!!

  2. Are you Tony Kornheiser’s nephew?

Ha! She’s just annoying as a tennis commentator. She knows nothing about the sport. She was the vuvuzela during the the record breaking Isner/Mahut match. Screeeeeeeech!!! –although she wasn’t as horrible today on ESPN2 during the first day of US Open coverage.

Compared to the ESPN2 coverage this week, CBS has at least 3 times more commercials. At times its difficult to watch the matches because they’ll skip half a set in order to show more commercials. They disguise it a little by switching back-and-forth between different courts (and matches), but when you come back to an interesting match you find that 5 or 6 games have gone by.

I was disappointed in Mondays coverage. Cibulkova And Kustensova seemed to have more breaks of serve and a tie breaker and not once did you cover a single minute of play instead covered the two frenchmen with little more than critiques of their play.

OKAY after 2hours and 6 minutes of play between Cibulkova and Kuznetsova you managed to squeeze in four minutes of coverage on a major upset on the womens side of the draw. Come on CBS and decrease all the commercials and cover some more of this great sporting event. Also see what you can do to get Lindsay Davenport on board. She is a great commentator and analyst and a gold medalist as well as a winner of three majors.

I got tired of listening to Mcenroe talk about how Woz had no chance against Sharapova all he did was talk about her game wasnt in the same league as Sharapova and on and on well as usual he was wrong I think she stuck to her game and prevailed, Mcenroe was a blow hard full of hot air when he played and still is now.

As Monfils is playing Djokovic in the quarter finals your announcers distastefully criticize Monfils’style of play. Monfils was up 40 to love and he made an outstanding acrobatic move.
Let Monfils be himself. Let world tennis have more personality……Monfils is a real welcome to watch. Please….less on personal opinions and more on factual – discriptive analysis!

CBS needs to stick to their other mindless venues and give up their ATTEMPTS to broadcast sports. I will be watching this network even less (read as; not at all) than I did before their inept coverage of the US Open Mens Final.
