The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards took top honors with both adults 18-49 and total viewers. NFL preseason action, America's Got Talent and two installments of Big Brother rounded out the top five with adults 18-49. All three Big Brother telecasts for the week made it into the top 10 with adults 18-49.
With total viewers, after the Emmy Awards it was both telecasts of America's Got Talent, NFL preseason action and NCIS.
A repeat of The Big Bang Theory was the top scripted show with adults 18-49.

The Big Bang Theory… gonna have a great new season. I think.
This must be the first time in a long time that the Emmys were #1 in the ratings, even if it was in August.
For a very long time the Emmys would have *no* chance of being #1 when broadcast in September.
I’m surprised The Emmys beat football, I know it was a just a preseason game but still, the emmy people should be happy with those numbers
