I’m a regular viewer of Fox news but occasionally switch to MSNBC or CNN for a different perspective…what I see, particularly on MSNBC, is a very ANGRY left. Why? They have the presidency, both Houses of Congress and the majority of the media. What more do they want?!?
They know that after November… they won’t have it “all” anymore
I wonder what the daytime ratings will look like for today due to the Discovery Channel HQ gunman.
They want the President to follow through on his campaign promises and show some drive and push for what is right, not what is politically correct for him. I do not agree with your comment about the left having the majority of the media. No, your Fave station has that and it cranks up its hate machine 24/7. I find those personal attacks, lies, and nastiness despicable.
I have actually started watching snipets of MSNBC because the YouTubes are outrageous. The Ed Schultz meltdown over Beck are hilarious. I have never seen such an angry, mean spirited crowd and the lack of critical thinking brain power is staggering. Wow. I actually think some of those folks are just nuts. Ed, Mika (the eating disorder article was disturbing), Olberhoohoo. I hear people say this Maddow lady is smart, but I just can’t get there. And they have the craziest guests over and over. Fox may be biased, but even the most far out there on Fox can’t hold a candle to these MSNBC folks in the loony department.
Give me a break… All Olbermann does is spew “personal attacks”. First on his show, and then on twitter for the remaining 23 hours of the day. Who on FOX comes anywhere close to the level of say…….. his Senator Brown rant ??
Do me a favor, post a YouTube video of a FOX commentator using what you call “personal attacks, lies, and nastiness”… compare it to this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDFo5rTZb7A
[I can give you more if you'd like...]
Ed Schultz & his twin sister Joy Behar are doing more to drive liberal Democrats into oblivion than the Tea Party,& Sarah Palin !
Ok, Your right Olbermann & Matthews are doing more damage !
Can you imagine the damage MSNBC would be doing to Democrats if they had viewers !
Right…even though I like to “channel surf”, I’m tending to avoid MSNBC altogether because the hosts have become so outrageously nasty. Sometimes, I can’t click away from that station fast enough…it’s become embarrassing.
Fox News pushes misconceptions across america via their media outlets. The hosts on MSNBC are just reacting to this dominance of the rupert murdoch empire. Regardless if you think Fox is more fair than whatever other channel, the fact remains that Fox pushes the republican agenda as their daily narrative. Fox News is owned by a multi-national, multi billion dollar company. It pushes views that benefit the rich. The Fox News hosts are super rich millionaires who don’t care if you can’t pay your light bill, or happen to be out of work because of a terrible economy. They only care about keeping their tax cuts, yet somehow most Americans feel that these hosts are speaking from them. When they are nothing like you. They eat caviar and sip champagne that you’ll only ever dream about if you are poor. So, the MSNBC hosts are reacting with the appropriate amount of criticism, imo.
Nancy:
Here are two of your quotes, one after the other about “personal attacks.”
“Funny, I never personally attack people on that other channel most of you love.”
” She is one weird woman and yes, a good lay will cure that permanent stick, stuck up her rear and that stick is up there, sideways. She is a hideous, silly, dim woman. ”
Please look up irony and hypocrite in the dictionary- you might learn something and temper your future comments (look up temper, while you’re at it.)
I also used to find MSNBC far more watchable in the past, but between Keith and Ed, the vitriol and hate is getting to be waaaay over the top. I still surf amongst all 3, but the crew at MS is really getting desperate in their defense of Obama and their poor ratings.
I hoping Nancy will provide me with a few FOX video’s complete with “personal attacks, lies, and nastiness…. you know… the despicable stuff they do 24/7…….
Oh… Nancy… here’s the video where Olbermann apologizes to Senator Brown: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLRhk-0EiZE
Like with his initial comment, Olbermann was attacking Senator Brown in an effort to save his struggling ratings. You might have read yesterday that Countdown is down 25% from last year. Well… It’s also down 25% from the year before. Desperate times call for desperate hacks..
Anne and others above. of course you click away from MSNBC, just as rapidly as I click away from Fox. We are at a standoff here, so I say, you go your way….Fox…and I will go my way…MSNBC. Sounds just great to me. Oh, have I told you lately how much I love MSNBC? Yes, I have: From 4 and on, great information. That my dear, Fox lovers is my prerogative, so please, notice I said please, let me wallow in my faves and by all means, please do the same at your channel.
j: When it comes to that awful woman, can’t even write or say her name, all bets are off. I can’t tolerate her or her counterpart, SP. Two hideous woman. Period. I try not to be plain old mean, like many here, but in this case, I will join in with my own name calling and personal attacks. Yes, this is where you will see me attack: SP: Mean, dim, strident, nasal, speaks through clenched teeth, uses her children and religion as props to further her far, far right agenda, narcissistic, phony, lacks human compassion, money monger and just your all around creep, yes creep. See? I can do my thing too! I just love to let it rip, every now and then. Boy, that was so much fun. Oh, J? Who says that I can’t have a temper tantrum here. I refuse to “temper” my future comments, but, I will be watching you, oh great one, b/c I am sure you will want me to follow your lead…..won’t happen…For sure.
No problem Nancy…
And it’s okay….I didn’t think you could back-up your claims of “personal attacks, lies, and nastiness despicable” comment about FOX… or you would have by now. FOX doesn’t use those tactics… they don’t have to.
You quite obviously didn’t use the dictionary, but by all means, follow along and hold me to your poor stnadard of conduct. The only person I truly despise on MSNBC is Keith, because I had the misfortune of working at ESPN during his horrrific tenure there, and I know personally what a complete and utter arrogant, sophmoric, mysogynistic, and egomaniacial bastard he is.
Never said I clicked away from MSNBC, either- just that their level of bombast and anger is reaching a boiling point, particularly with Ed and Keefy. You also haven’t backed up your claims very well, and since I look at a variety of news sources from here and abroad, I must say that most of the real hatred is coming from those on the extreme of both sides, but the left side of it gets a lot of air on MSNBC and via their personalities.
If you bothered to pull your head out of the MSNBC bubble and consider a variety of news sources, you might discover that you are not always getting the accurate or entire story. But please soldier on with your ignorance and hypocrisy; the irony of both which are lost on you, and keep toeing the party line.
Rachael Maddow is possed by a snarling demon.
Uncle Ed, has to put himself in the psycho zone.
Are you practicing for a gig on MSNBC? I think you need a little more hate in your commentary and a few more lies to be qualified for that job!
The dems are desperate they are lashing out anyone who breaths wrong, there like a mad dog foaming at the mouth, know what they use to do to them.
After nov.if the repups should win,the whole country will be in a mess,be very carefull what you wish for.
