I’m confused. How did Dark Blue add vs last week? The above figures make it look like it was down significantly vs last week.

  2. Dark Blue not up, but down (and in relative terms, quite a bit).

  3. Yikes! Only in the world where I have too many numbers to compare.

Hard Knocks increased a lot from last week.

I still watch and like Dark Blue, but apparently TNT is realizing the nail is in the coffin. They revised DB’s airing schedule and are burning off the last 4 episodes in 2 hour blocks over the next 2 weeks.

  6. Top Chef looks like the winner last night. Is it getting a look-see because of the Emmy win? And that is with no lead-in. Why Bravo doesn’t have something at 9:00 other than a repeat of the previous week’s TC episode eludes me. Guess they didn’t want to start Top Chef: Just Desserts until after mid September, but I wonder why.

  7. Hopefully Psych will be up more in the winter season.. But OMG nothing is better then White collar right now super sad that its going away for a few months

Dark Blue must be toast by now? TNT is giving it every chance though. I like that about cable.

Shame, I think its definitely better then it was last year. But what can you do.

Dark Blue is done, the ratings are low compared to other TNT summer shows and TNT have to cancel something to make room for new shows. Men of a Certain Age and SouthLand have critical acclaim but they’re not safe by any means. Hawthorne I think has a shot of being renewed but it hasn’t been mentioned in any TNT press releases which isn’t a good sign.

Psych will get renewed but it’s the second or third lowest show on USA, I imagine the fact it skews younger will play a part in its renewal.

Yeah it’s really weird how TNT is so quiet about Hawthorne unlike last year. Same goes for Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime. Last year, both shows were mentioned a lot on their channel’s press releases.

Top Chef was the highest rated of the night and that pleases me.

  13. I am so glad that Ghost Hunters went up in the ratings. I don’t want it to get cancelled too soon. =))

I really enjoy this show. I wish it had started earlier in the summer

I think DDD is safe, it had almost the viewers it was getting last year on a network with few series on.

While Hawthorne is getting similar ratings to last year’s, it has to face more “in-house” competion, with all the shows TNT has. So its situation is more troubled.

I love Dark Blue. I don’t know why the ratings went down this week. The latest episode was one of the best ones, yet.

I’ve been enjoying “Dark Blue.” I don’t love it, but the cast really melds well together. I would be shocked if we see a S3 though.
