Is it now going to be regular thing with O’Reilly taking vacations? I know it’s labor day weekend, but when he’s gone it not only impacts his show’s ratings but also Hannity and Greta.

  2. Dollabill379

CNN just cant get a break .utterly terrible ..say what you will about MSNBC but at least Keith and Rachel draw over 1 million viewers every weeknight and Ed Shultz ratings are steadily climbing

  3. Anonymous

I’m assuming the O’Reilly Factor’s 25-54 ratings are wrong. Also, Hannity was off due to special Hurricane Earl coverage.

  4. Dollabill379

john king is not primetime material nor rick sanchez .larry king is burnt out .and ac360 gets beat by countdowns repeats .maybe the midterm elections will change things this november

  5. Yep, typo in the O’Reilly numbers, Fixed.

  6. Anonymous

Maybe. I was looking at the cable news ratings archives during the 2008 elections and its amazing at how all the networks were getting high ratings. Countdown regulariy crossing over 2 million viewers, O’Reilly was cracking 4 million viewers and CNN was competitive. It was amazing to see Anderson Cooper regularly trouncing Greta in the ratings.

Granted that was the presidental election. I don’t know if the midterms will get even half that.

O’Reilly is probably taking time off to get his new book ready for release. I think it is running 10 days late. Afterwards, he’ll be on promotion outings and book signings, so expect to see Bill and the Factor on locations across the country.

Schultz announced tonight that he is going to organize a march on Washington for October 2. This whole thing is shaping up to be as interesting as the second Louis – Schmeling fight, and will probably generate as much “illegal” betting. I can’t wait. And I don’t expect to get much sleep the night of November 2, either. Watching Fox and MSNBC slug it out for the next couple of months is definitely worth the cost of the satellite programming.

DB: I agree and Ed is my Fave on MSNBC, however, I am enjoying Cenk taking over for DR and Ed. I hope he gets his own show, as I am a huge fan of “The Young Turks.” It is enjoyable to be able to turn to liberal, yes, liberal programming. I know we are going to get our ….handed to us, but that is the way it is. I don’t appreciate repubs taking over Congress, but Dems have no fight in them. Period.

  10. 3kinjite

Ha ha ha! Even with FNCs hurricane Earl coverage, they still doubled MSNBCs ratings!
    There’s no hope for them.

  11. FOX News – As much as I like or even love Shephard Smith’s way he presents the news it doesn’t really work putting him on Hannity’s time slot…not working in the sense of getting over 2 million viewers. If Bret covered the story he would probably do better BUT not as good as Hannity’s numbers.

CNN is just desperate, I can’t say anything about it, the news organization that I used to remember watching and remembering my dad flipping the channel to CNN for the news but now CNN has changed maybe except for Larry King but even Larry King’s numbers don’t resemble the numbers that CNN used to get.

MSNBC – Good God, I watch Olbermann one time, he’s just too arrogant for me so I listen to the people he “debates” or the people that suck up to him…it’s just doesn’t give me the BIG picture for the whole issue, the other side of the issue that is.

HLN – Joy Behar…..errrrrrkkkkk…. As I’m a Conservative, I’d rather listen to Whoopi Goldberg and would willing to debate her than Joy.

  12. StompTheLibs

Beck was not shown at the usual 11pm west coast feed due to hurricane coverage.
And last week, they re-ran O’reilly at 11pm as opposed to the regular replay.

Where does one get Beck replays??

  13. notfooledbyu

That march is not organized by Ed Schulz….Its by SEIU, AFL-CIO, NAACP,CODE PINK,
LA RAZA,COLOR OF CHANGE, CHICAGO DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST OF AMERICA…
Many more left wing commie loons.
The web site for this rally is onenationworkingtogether.org.
There you will see all the marxist groups.

  14. Hoppyplayer

Well, there he goes again – another lie.

  15. Hoppyplayer

I checked out the website – when you’ve got Rangel front and center, how can you be anything but honest?

  16. notfooledbyu

LOL…Did you see all the organizations…geez we are being invaded with all these commies.
    All these AMERICA HATERS.
George Soro’s is to blame, he funds half this sh!t.

He should add Maxine Waters to the list- she’s a socialist, pseudo-marxist, AND as “honest” as Rangel. But first, Ed needs to learn the Constitution and the law a bit better. The dope called for troops returning home from Iraq to be “redeployed” to Chicago to battle the rising gang violence there. Perhaps if he put down the sandwich for once and looked at a little thing called the Posse Comitatus Act, he would realize how stupid and illegal the idea is. It’s also amusing that this is the same man who opposes N.G. troops protecting the border, which is not only legal, but covered in the charter of the U.S. Armed Forces. For someone who claims to be for civil liberties and such, Sgt. Schultz is woefully ignorant of the laws in place to protect civilians. Oh well, he’ll probably just blow another gasket and threaten to torch 30 Rock yet again, paragon of sanity and rational thought that he is.Without the Union thuggery behind him, I doubt Ed could attract even 300 flies to his rally if he covered himself in the horse manure he seems to spew regularly.
