Boosted by the premiere of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Disney topped the primetime cable viewership for the week ending September 5, elbowing aside typical leader USA Network. And with a big NASCAR race plus the beginning of the college football season, ESPN moved ahead of USA for adults 18-49 in primetime.
We’ve entered the season where when football returns to ESPN, and they should be topping the adults 18-49 cable ratings going forward because of Monday Night and college football, perhaps challenged by TBS once the baseball playoffs get going.
Nobody’s moving SpongeBob out of the way though, Nickelodeon remained at the top of the total day average viewership rankings.
