Late-night Show to Feature What’s Next, Now
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – September 16, 2010—NBC's late-night talk show “with Carson Daly” (Mondays-Fridays, 1:35-2:05 a.m. ET) begins its 10th season with original episodes Monday, September 20 with a focus on exploring emerging culture as “ ” continues to bring viewers What's Next, Now.
Host Carson Daly begins the week by sitting down with comedian/author Kristen Schaal (“The Sexy Book of Sexy Sex”) on Monday, September 20, daredevil Steve-O (“Jackass 3D”) on September 21, actor/comedian Rob Corddry (“Children’s Hospital”) on September 22 and actor Ron Perlman (“”) on September 23. Daly also checks in with breakout rapper B.o.B. whose third single, “Magic” recently became his third consecutive top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
“” will continue shining a spotlight on undiscovered stories by introducing viewers to underground chef Wolvesmouth, filmmaker and internet sensation Freddie Wong, rapper Jay Electronica and creature effects artist Robert Hall in the opening week.
Musical guests include rock band The Walkmen, hip-hop star and reggae royalty NAS & Damian Marley, New York based band Alberta Cross and singer/songwriter Janelle Monae.
Future guests include Elizabeth Moss (“”), actor/comedian David Cross, the filmmakers behind the highly anticipated documentary “Catfish” and musical guests Broken Bells and Jimmy Eat World.
“Last Call” shoots at various locations around Los Angeles and other cities, which allows the audience to experience each guest in a unique and intimate setting. Always a trendsetter in introducing new music, Daly is currently hosting a morning radio show, which helps him stay immersed in the music scene.
