For those of you who took the summer off, welcome back!  The new season (finally!) officially begins tonight.  The networks are coming out swinging -- for the fences and at each other -- with  a competitive schedule made up of new series and some returning hits.

Five new series debut tonight on the broadcast networks. Newcomers Lone Star, The Event, Mike & Molly, Chase and Hawaii Five-0 join the veteran Monday night fare of Dancing with the Stars, How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, House, Rules of Engagement, Two and a Half Men and Castle.

While there's no doubt that as ever there will be a lot of interest in Chuck, I'm particularly interested to see how newcomers Lone Star & The Event rate tonight.  I'm sure that at least tonight, Hawaii Five-0 will do well.  I'm not as optimistic for Chase.

This isn't a "guess the ratings" post, but you can find that here and check out the comments to see what everyone thinks.   You can also check out upcoming premiere dates.

And in case you didn't notice, we're ringing in the 2010-11 season with a redesigned the site.
