Note: at the time I created the table below I hadn't yet seen the numbers for Sunday night's premiere of Boardwalk Empire -- it averaged 4.8 million at 9pm Sunday and HBO renewed it! Though not currently reflected in the table below, it would be #10. Remember, HBO is only in about 1/3rd as many homes as the other networks.
As expected, both games of the Monday Night Football doubleheader on September 13 topped the weekly cable viewing, led by Ravens/Jets with 14.97 million. Barring a miracle, you can count on seeing Monday Night Football perched at the top of this chart for the next three months.
YouTube sensation "Fred Figglehorn" was a hit on TV as well as Nickelodeon's Fred: The Movie landed and third. The summer finales of The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles and Covert Affairs took the next three spots with the Pawn Stars, American Pickers and Boardwalk Empire (which is not in the table below) rounding out the top ten.

You can subscribe to our RSS feed and we have created a special category (Overnight Cable TV Show Ratings) to group the data we typically post each weekday from @TravisYanan on Twitter. During the week Travis usually posts selected cable results for each weekday, usually late in the afternoon on the east coast (and Friday night data isn't posted until Monday) and he posts the links to that info on his Twitter account to the info on Marc Berman's PI Forums.
