'Saturday Night Live' w/ Bryan Cranston & Kanye West Scores 2.5 Adults 18-49 Rating

Last night's preliminary 4.8 household rating and 2.5 adults 18-49 rating for Saturday Night Live is close to the average for SNL new episodes last fall.

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night:

  • Saturday Night Live” (4.8/12 in metered-market households), hosted by Bryan Cranston with musical guest Kanye West, dominated its time period. Versus the same night last year, “Saturday Night Live” is up 2 percent in metered market households (4.8 vs. 4.7). *Note that current metered-market averages are based on Nielsen “live plus same day” data while ratings for last year were drawn from “live only” results.
  • Last night’s telecast of “Saturday Night Live” was the #1 non-sports program of the night, topping all primetime entertainment telecasts on all major networks in metered-market household ratings.
  • In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 2.5 rating, 11 share in adults 18-49 and was the #1 show of the night in the Local People Meters, ahead of all primetime telecasts on all the major networks.
