USA > TNT.
The final Live+7 data for the summer shows is in, and once again USA Network saw big lift vs. the Live+SD ratings with the last two episodes of Covert Affairs getting 50% lift in adults 18-49 (9pm episode on September 14 grew from 1.822 million adults 18-49 to 2.822 million and the 10pm finale grew from 1.865 million to 2.835 million).
This isn't exactly news for anyone who was following along during the summer, and the news wasn't much different relatively even without the extra week of DVR viewing, but USA held the ratings advantage with the scripted summer fare.
Despite TNT having the two most-viewed shows overall with Rizzoli & Isles and The Closer, all the USA shows did better with adults 18-49 other than White Collar and Psych. Every USA show performed better than every TNT show with adults 18-34. On average USA came out on top across the board, in viewers and in all the advertising coveted demographics.
Below are the projected Live+7 averages for USA and TNT's summer scripted originals.
