After two weeks of the 2010-11 broadcast season, Univision has increased its adults 18-49 ratings average by 9% vs last season. While among English broadcasters, CBS is up 5% in adults 18-49 vs. 2009-10. NBC and the CW are both up 3% vs. last season.
On the downside, both ABC and Fox continue well below last year's ratings pace, down 14% and 13% respectively in the all important adults 18-49 ratings compared to their averages after two weeks last season.
Broadcast network ratings approximate cumulative average: The sum of the 5 English networks adults 18-49 season to date ratings averages (not a true overall average), was 4.5% below the ratings sum through week 2 of the 2009-10 season.
CBS maintains its overall lead in primetime adults 18-49 ratings for the season after two weeks averaging a 3.2 rating. NBC is in second place with a 2.8 adults 18-49 ratings average, while ABC and Fox are tied with a 2.7 adults 18-49 ratings average.
Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating equals 1.315 million adults 18-49
